Need ceramic pads for 2019 2.0t but can't find them.
So I made my thread in the previous gen's forum, sorry I'll get it deleted. Anyway this is my issue:
So in all my previous cars I swapped out the OEM brakes for ceramic ones because they last a lot longer per how I drive. I'm at the point I need them for my 2019 Touring 2.0t but when I go to order none of the pads look right and I ordered posi-quiet 500.16540 but they were the brakes for last gen Accords (which I also owned). Has anyone had any luck finding any ceramic brake pads that will fit in the calipers of the 2018+ Accord Touring 2.0t? Maybe it's that nobody cares so I need to get calipers too which is too pricey and sad because the calipers on here are pretty good. The other things I was thinking is that I can put in pads but they don't have to be the perfect shape of the OEM pads do they? The issue is all after market pads do not have the big tongue on top of the outer pad that presses against the cylinder. I'm thinking pads can just fit in the groove of the tongue and not need to go up and have the two humps sticking out.
Thanks for reading this and I hope you guys help as I need new pads BAD, it's getting dangerous!
