I have a JDM p5p-003 ECU in my 97 (5th gen) Prelude. Any recommendations on a scan tool, cables/adapters I will need to read this JDM ECU??

I've read a number of posts, but non-have been very helpful. e.g. adapters to connect the tool to the ECU .

I don't think the original (USDM blue Honda connection and 16 port) diagnostic ports are connected . I was looking at the Scantools product that says their PC -based scantool software will work with JOBD format.
