Default any advice

i was wondering if swapping in a manual rack and pinion is worth it over putting in a new power steering unit, also any advise like any extra parts i would need to do it in one shot. thanks in advance

I just did it on my 97 del sol, it cleans up the engine bay and just less to maintain. Some people just convert the power rack to manual by looping the lines or something but I had an extra rack and with the engine out already it took like 5 minutes to swap. Only thing is there is like a u shaped bracket on the passenger side that is different sizes for manual rack and the holes on the subframe wont match up but I just used the rubber piece from one rack with the bracket of one rack and got it to fit
