Hello there , recently i replace my exhaust system on my 92 jdm eg6 .my old exhaust system had a second hole for a sensor but my new one doesn't and the car now is working in limb mode like a boxer engine but no cel codes .I search on google about that sensor but nothing , is not a secondary o2 sensor as is a obd1 and is running on a jdm p30 ecu .
is anyone had this problem before or know how to fix that problem ?part number for this sensor is 37810-P30-J11 and they call it thermo sensor/converter.
It’s a catalyst temp sensor, something that we never had here in the states where most of the posters are from.
if you have no codes, it’s hard to imagine the ecu is in limp mode. If it sounds like “boxer engine” that usually means it’s running on less than all cylinders. I suspect you have something else happening. Have you checked to male sure all cylinders are firing?
