Default Engine Swap

So I have a 1999 Honda Civic Ex 5 speed with the D16y8 with Vtec. Motor runs great but eventually I will want to swap it with a b18c1. Obviously I know I would need/want to find an obd2 motor but roughly how much would it cost to have a shop do the entire swap. Also what would I need to take to them? I know for sure I should do mounts, engine, transmission, Ecu. Would I need new harness or is my stock harness fine since it already has vtec? Also would I need a new fuel pump? To simplify I’m simply asking what are the bare basic necessities I need to do the swap and also how much would a shop charge to put everything together.

Talk to the shop that you want to do the work... ask what they charge for the labor. Also, ask them what items you need for the swap and if they are OK with you supplying the parts. Many shops offer reduced labor costs when you purchase parts from them... also, they can guide you on parts compatibility so you don't have to "make things work" as in more labor than necessary... this drives the price up.
