B20 VTEC Build
Hello everyone, I swapped a 2001 B20Z2 into my 97 Del Sol and want to go VTEC but have a few questions I was hoping to get some help with. I am trying to say N/A and make between 200-250hp. I have a friend who will sell me either a B16 head or a GSR head for the same price (long story). I am mainly curious about how a VTEC head affects the compression and the piston to valve clearance. I was just hoping to get information on which cylinder head would be better suited for my build, how large of camshafts I can use with the head, and if I would have any room for higher compression pistons.
