I'm stuck with a question regarding the rear end on a VTEC CRX.
I'm building again from scratch and the lower outer bushing doesn't line up where the trailing arm sits.
My question is this normal or not ?
Might be the bushing in the upper control arm is a bit off.
If the line up is normal how do I proceed with attaching the lower arm to the trailing arm ?
Jack underneed the shock/lower arm to get it up a bit ?
I can pull the trailing arm down as well but it seems to stress on the bushing that connects the upper arm to the body.
I don't want to ruin the new bushing on the upper arm hence my questions.
Here are some pics;

It should all fit in place much nicer after you jack up the suspension and the weight of the corner is on the suspension, right at the point the car lifts from the jackstand.
This is how you're supposed to do it according to the shop manual. It's also good for keeping your bushings in good shape, and you don't rip them.
Ok thanks, I'll give it a go later this week with the help of my jack.
My shop manual mentions nothing about the rear trailing arm removal/assembly.
It looks like an OEM manual (681 pages), are you using something else ?
