Hey there,
I was wondering if anyone on here knows to to remove the third brake light housing on the rear deck on 1993 Accord ? I'm asking because I have a dead bug inside and I'd like to clean it out.
Anyway I had asked elsewhere online and only had gotten vague answers with no pictures etc... I also tried to find a YouTube video on the subject but nothing came up except for later model years
so if anyone can give me clear directions on it I'd appreciate it.

 

You could look under the back window deck for some screws, but I think that plastic housing pops off from inside, but I have no idea how the tabs might be oriented. I know you get to the bulb for that light from inside the trunk.

 

Pop the trunk. Look underneath the speaker deck. Unplug the harness for the bulb. There should be two 10mm nuts. Undo those, and you should be able to slide the brake light back and out of the deck. At least that's what I remember when i last cleaned mine out.
