Default Would you trust a ecoplug (magnet drain plug) to hold your oil in under power?

Just as the title says my oversized bolt on my gsr pan has stripped after the one oil change i Dont do on this car lol
needed a bigger wrench to crack the plug, and while tightening the bolt wold just spin never truly bottom out.

so i caked on rtv the base of the pan and surprisingly not leasing 3 weeks later after countless wot pulls but still.....its sketchy to say the least, especially if i want to go on a long distance drive.

anyway while pondering for long term solutions my intial idea was to heliocoil it but i came across a plug thats made for aluminum, and its tapered so it self threads and you can go deeper depending how bad your threads are.
the idea is to thread lock the main tapered piece into the pan then drain the oil by pulling a heavy duty magnet off so that was you never have to risk the further damaging the already damaged threads.

The whole magnet thing turns me off a little a bolt inside that bolt would have made much more sense. But at the same time, it says vice grips are required to remove the plug.
i guess im just wondering if you have any opinions on this holding up boosting around, two stepping ect.
If the magnet fails youre pretty much screwed

Replace the oil pan, they're cheap.

Time-Sert makes a repair kit for the Honda oil pan threads. They may also offer a "Big-Sert" for holes that have already been oversized.
