Default Data link connector terminals

What’s the part number for the terminals for an OBD2 DLC? I can’t seem to find it and nothing I possess matches it.

For the DLC or the OBD2 port?

The datalink and SCS connectors use Sumitomo HM series 8240-4422 (sockets) and 8230-4282 (pins). Same terminals as in a lot of the engine side sensor connectors.

Thank you! The sockets for the data link connector under the dash are what I mean. In my understanding, the DLC and the OBD2 port are the same thing.

I have a hacked up harness from an engine I had, and none of those terminals have the little “fin” on them.

The reason I’m looking for these is that I have to hook up my immobilizer and CAN wires to the DLC.

I think think the 3-pin DLC connector lived on for a couple of years along with the OBD2 port. Maybe 96-97? I'm not positive that's the case, but if it's there those are the correct contacts.

You’re right. There is only the obd2. For some reason I thought I remembered the 3 pin DLC still being present in the early obd2 chassis. I’m not sure what pin fits in there.

I don't think he's wanting the pin as much as the part number for the female crimp connector?

I know. I said pin, meant socket. Tend to use them interchangeably.

Tom is right, but I’m also guilty of saying pin when I intend socket.
