I'm replacing all parts related to fuel delivery. I ordered a new in-line fuel pump
from Advance Auto Parts thru Delphi from Walbro. The pump is considerably
smaller in diameter and length of the original OEM pump. All parties involved
confirmed I have the correct part number. Delphi and Walbro were of little help
in digging a little deeper. Am I supposed to wrap the replacement pump
in rubber material to take up the gap in the mounting bracket? I'd appreciate
your insight if you've faced this before.
