Hi i recently changed my headliner to a Black color and i would like to change the panel pieces aswell, is there some aftermarket ones that make them in Black or oem aswell please help me with this!

 

paint it black, cheapest route. everyone likes cheap.

 

From the headliner down to the base of the greenhouse (bottom of the glass windows all the way around) has always been a light color in the EK from Honda, so you will have to paint/dye it yourself.

 

Can u recommend any paints, i tryied to paint it but it chips off, might need to primer the panels first?

I was thinking of flocking the panels but idk if that would even look good, or maybe wrap them but idk if they will fit with the clips properly...

works really well on door and dash vinyl. I did my lower door panel, its holding some what fine , but it does scratch/mar from shoes rubbing on it. it no bedliner !!

to my defense, it was my first time painting plastics. prep it very important and mine wasnt to notch lol

 

Yeah SEM is the best product if you're gonna do it, but still not perfect. It will scratch easy, also after a long hot autocross day, my sweaty leg being up against the painted center console all day actually started to "melt" the paint away. Got all over my leg and will have to be resprayed.

 

If you want to do it properly with OEM panels, you need to purchase EK9 interior parts. The upper panels are a darker gray and the lower panels are black.

 

The best would be LHD Eudm panel, everything is on the right/good side.
