this thing has been giving me a headache for months its a weird noise when i turn my key to the on position i think its the fuel pump but im not sure

 

If it’s a whirring noise then it’s your fuel pump.

That sounds like fuel pump to me bro. That’s exactly what mine sounds like.

 

Sounds like fuel pump priming. Didn’t hear anything unusual.

 

Yep, definitely normal. If it starts grinding or sounding like a cat in heat, then be concerned.

Does sound a little like gurgling lol.

You can can change your fuel filter out since it’s cheap and see if it sound any different. But aside from the sound,if it runs and doesn’t give you any cel for it I would leave it be.

or if it bothers you that much look into purchasing a new fuel pump.

That second video it does sounds weird and/or grumbly. You could probably find one from the junkyard just to swap and see if anything changes. It's a pretty simple procedure to swap the pump.
