No. the V6 5th Gens have a longer front end, and are closer in design to the 6th Gen and up with the J swap. It would be easier to swap in a J than an F23.

If you want a F23, sell the car and buy a 4 cylinder car.

Sell the car and buy one with three pedals under the dash; that will cost you thousands of dollars less, be more reliable, and take a hell of a lot less time.

You could get an F23 to fit but finding mounts that would work would be difficult and would likely require custom ones to be made, add that to the cost of the motor and a manual transmission and your looking at spending an easy $1,000-$1,500 on a car thats worth $1,500 to begin with, all to LOSE like 30hp but gain a manual transmission.

I would sell the car and buy a 5spd car. Either one with a V6 or a H or F series 4cyl.

I would argue converting the V6 Automatic (engine right side of the car, transmission left side of the car) to an I4 Manual (engine left side of the car, transmission right side of the car), along with the ECU, wiring, A/C, cooling, vacuum, and power steering changes, and then figure out how to mount and install the clutch pedal and hydraulics, and the transmission linkages, will cost an easy $3,000-$4000 to make it operate.

Not sure if the body of the car has the same metalwork as far as mounts go, looking at the two bays, it looks like the passenger's side mount is the same. I'm thinking the rear mount would be the same, but the driver's side mount that you would need for the F23 doesn't appear to be in the V6 bay, so problem there. I totally forgot that the V6 CD5 Accords use a passenger's side mounting of the engine. So it's still possible but it would mean at least one custom fabricated mount and modification to the body.

If you were dead set on it though and you did the work all yourself, it's entirely possible for well under $2,500 believe it or not

Engine: F23 Engine - eBay - $300
Transmission: 90-02 JDM Accord Manual Transmission - $650
ECU: F23A Manual Transmission ECU - $65
Engine Harness: - $85
Mounts: - $175
Axles: - $150
Clutch & Brake Pedals: 98-02 Accord Manual Trans Pedals - $110
Clutch Master Cylinder: Accord Clutch Master Cylinder - $25
Shifter & Cables: 98-02 ACCORD EX SHIFTER + SHIFT CABLES - $140

TOTAL: $1,700
(I'd say add another $800 to $1,000 for a clutch and flywheel, maybe a manual cluster, fluids, power steering lines but thats about it)

My guess was $3,000 to $4,000, I'm thinking I'm sticking with this estimate.

Nothin wrong with stating your beliefs, it's an honest estimate im sure and I'm thinking its always best to over estimate costs when it comes to cars anyways.
