So people keep telling me to document what I’m doing so I can look back on it some day.

Im 34 years old and have been an automotive tech for my entire adult life. I love cars, Honda specifically. I daily drive an Acura TL, and now I own this **** box. I’ve always loved 90s era cars. My favorite car I ever owned was my 94 Acura vigor. I love the glass headlamps, I love the vinyl headliners. I love real throttle cables. I’ve always wanted an eg civic, ever since I was a kid. So now I own one.

this was a $500 craigslist special. Spur of the moment type thing, I just happened to be close to the seller and he actually responded. It was so spur of the moment, I had to Uber a friend to come drive my car home.

So so here’s some specs:

1994 Civic DX coupe, currently sitting at 227,000 miles. Runs like a god damn champ.

Goals: restore the car, swap a motor, build a turbo kit and then drive it like an old man. So far I’m just trying to make the car look presentable. It drives great. So far mechanically all I’ve done is replace the A/c compressor. This will mostly be body work for awhile. I know I ordered the wrong headlight, gotta get a clear one. Eventually this thing will look good.
