My drivers side power window won't go down. It makes a clicking sound when the button is pressed. All other windows operate fine. I changed out the master PW switch using the same OEM part. When I plugged in the new switch the window operated and went up and down. When I finished installing the switch, the window wouldn't operate again. Anyone have any thoughts? I tried the reset procedure but that is to adjust the auto up/down function when the window moves. I'm going to return the switch for a new one but I'm afraid I might get the same result if it's a fault in the car.

 

You should pull the and see if the motor is getting power . I'll bet if it is and doesn't move a tap or two will make it go . Motor probably comes with the regulator .

You'll need to research that yourself , that's just the way it is .
