2009 Honda Accord - Airbag Light on - Video - Please Help me find the Code
Hello all!
I have a 2009 Honda Accord with the Airbag Light on. I have a wire in the plug at the #4 and #9 position of the OBD2 plug.
Please Please Help me find the code. I see 4 -5-4 but I'm not sure

Something seems off about the airbag light. Its flashing too fast in some instances.
Honestly youre better off with an OBD 2 code reader....
As far as I can tell, you can't read the Airbag/SRS code with a regular OBD2 code reader. You need a more advanced code reader. If I'm wrong, please point me to a good Airbag code reader around or under $100

I looked up the diagnostic procedure for SRS codes for your vehicle and no where does it state to short Pin 4 to Pin 9 to pull SRS codes. That procedure may be for an older or different model Honda.
If you wanna pull the SRS codes youre gonna need a code reader. I suggest Amazon. You may not find one for under $100 but I saw a few capable readers for under $150:
