I have a 98 Civic ex and the screws broke off on the housing. Is there a way to remove the housing. I already remove 2 screws 3 hoses. Thanks

 

The housing bolts to the block with two long 10mm bolts. Remove those, then pull / wiggle the housing off the water pipe. There is an O-ring on the water pipe that seals against the inside of the housing. This may need replacing when you go to reassemble.

 

Here's a different angle. The holes for the broken bolts go all the way so it shouldn't be too hard t get them out.

 

I would be so pissed if that was me. If it's just bolted on Rockauto that **** and replace the whole thing, **** the screws.

 

replace the housing, get new bolts for the housing and the neck.
