I have a 2013 Accord my AC compressor stopped working so i changed the relay to an official honda part. It started for about 5 seconds and it stopped again. Took it to my mechanic, he made an old relay manually start and the compressor started working fine. Long story short the clutch on the compressor its working normally the car only has 71k miles. I also checked the condenser but the car has to see if another road debris maybe caused damage but its fine. The dealership wants to change the compressor but thats not the problem i feel like it would be a waste of money. Any advice?

 

Find a new mechanic.
