Just wondering if all B-series oil pumps are interchangeable?? For instance if i want to run a "R" oil pump on a Gs-R Block will it work?? Are there any differences between a "R" oil pump and a Gs-R oil pump?? Thanks for the help!

 

as long as they are the same year....

newer pumps don't go on well to older B series, because the cover doesn't fit on it, and they don't have the crank angle sensors..

so if you have the crank angle sensor, get a pump with the sensor...if you don't, dont

your going to need a 94/95 GSR oil pump.

End of story BOYEEEEEEEE.

The oil pumps are the same. The only difference is the 96+ pumps have a spot to bolt the crank sensor to.

 

how bout the sprocket that the timing belt rides on any difference besides it has teeth for the crank sensor? and difference between b20, b18?
