Are O-Rings covered by "Certified Additional Coverage"?
Hello - I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I have a 2013 Honda Accord with about 70,000 miles on it. I purchased it in 2014, and when I bought it I also purchased an extended warranty product through Honda Care. The extended warranty lasts until a date or 100,000 miles, neither of which has arrived, so it's still in force. In a recent inspection, my local Honda dealer told me that they found a minor oil leak and that they need to replace the O-rings. They said if they don't replace those, the leak could get worse and could get into some other system, which would be bad.
If you can't tell by now, I am not at all mechanically knowledgeable. The extended warranty basically says that everything is covered unless it's listed in the "Exclusions" section, but I can't tell from reading that section whether O-rings are listed or not - if they're called something different. The repair/replacement is something like $700 so if this is covered that would help out a lot.
I've attached pictures of the warranty, including one page that says what's included, and a couple of pages of what's excluded. I am also going to ask the dealer, but an experience I had with them last week did not give me confidence that they would check accurately or give me the correct answer.

That looks like the United Care book. Have the dealership do the leg work. They have service advisers that write up the repair order and they will send it off to the warranty people to see if it is covered.
