How is Fuse 18 (PGM-FI integrated control unit) different from 15amp ECU fuse in hood
I have a partly fried but still working ECU (P08) and i'm trying to look for potential causes. I noticed there is a 15amp ecu fused in the under the hood fuse box but there is also a 7.5amp PGM-FI integrated control unit inside the cabin. When i removed the 7.5am fuse, the car still proceeded to start. What is the function of the 7.5amp fuse? i'm making an assumption that integrated control unit is the same as ECU or is it a fuse for something else? thanks.

the 15A is the main power to the ECU.
