2007 CRV DRL Relay location
I have DRL sign on the dashboard. Check the bulbs and fuses (both under hood and under dash) and they are OK. Reading the forums there is a suggestion to check the DRL relay. Where is exactly that relay is located in 2007 CRV? was trying to look for DRL module near the fuse block under the dash with no success. Does 2007 CRV has a DRL module or a single relay?
This is no separate DRL module or DRL relay. The DRL control circuit is built into the multiplex integrated control unit (MICU). The MICU is integrated as part of the under-dash fuse/relay box. A faulty MICU would necessitate replacement of the under-dash fuse/relay box.
This is how the system works:
The MICU controls DRL operation. The following conditions must be met for the headlights to operate in DRL mode:
•The ignition switch is in the ON (II) position
•The headlight switch is in the OFF position
•The parking brake is released
When all three conditions are met, the MICU will supply a reduced voltage to the high beam headlights.
You issue may not necessarily be due to a faulty MICU.
