Hello everyone,
I'm new to your forum and relatively new to Honda cars (9 months). I live in Southern Alberta, Canada and I own a 2001 Acura 1.7EL with 295K on the odometer, and a blown head gasket. Through much research and debate, I've decided to swap out the old D17A2 motor for a JDM D17A. I'm right in the middle of pulling the old motor now. I've got all the fluids drained, the wiring harness off, all hoses and AT linkage disconnected. Working on pulling the axles now. Wish me luck.

I'm very happy to be here and I hope to provide a little something back to this community for all the info I'm bound to take out of it.
