1999 Civic EX Up-Stream 02 Sensor Harness to Connector Wiring Needed
Looks like Grey, White, Green, Black
Thanks for adding me.
So I run over something and it ripped the harness and plug, wiring to my 02 sensor. I need wiring info so I can rig it back up.
My upstream 02 sensor is not in the exhaust manifold, but after the manifold and in the exhaust directly above the axle.
Thanks in advance

Not understanding that. I have a Grey wire which is larger than the other 3 wires, then green, white, black. I would really like a picture showing the location of the wires in the Male plug (harness side)

Looking at the 02 sensor plug where the wires go into the back: Top left: Grey, Top Right: Black, Both bottom are White
See post #7.
Start by turning key to ON(II) [engine off] and testing all 4 wires for voltage to body ground. The one with battery voltage runs to fuse 15 for the heater element.
The remaining three wires run to the ECU. Use continuity checks at ECU pins indicated in diagrams to identify them.

Seriously? The diagram clearly states the connector view is from the wire side of the female terminals. If you can't figure that out, I can't help you further. You now have all information needed to answer the questions in your first post.
Let the brain engage.
The female connector is on the 02 sensor. Honda used the same connectors, but for the 99-00 they switched sides, for whatever reason, but yeah seriously.....I need a pic of the wires going into the harness side of the Male connector. Thanks
Appreciate the vote of confidence, or worthless sarcasm....the fact is that I CANNOT READ THE SCHEMATIC ON MY PHONE WHATSOEVER.......and for whatever reason I can't load the page on my computer either. Thanks again. I thought someone here would actually have a 99-00 civic ex and/or would know the answers. It is what it is. The schematic you posted is way too blurry for me to read.
I was just about to say the same thing. The OP simply isn't aware that the primary O2 signal wire is shielded... so you actually have a white wire inside a thin steel mesh inside a grey outer protective sheath.
