Default 93 civic cx hatch w/ B18C1 turbo swap tucked harness

I got this tucked harness from someone for a good price but the guy don’t know who made it.. it came with a subharness and a charge wire.

I’ve got it installed and and all the sensor hooked up perfectly except it’s missing a dead end plug for the injectors ground unless it’s something I need to do it myself???? Also I don’t know where this 6 pin square plug go to that has no label....

Cam someone identify this tucked harness and this plug

The injectors don’t have a ground. They all are supplied with battery voltage and the ECU modulates their opening by pulsing ground.

I can’t say for sure about that 6pin plug, but that looks almost it’s for a wideband or EGR except it’s the wrong gender.

Wouldn't a wire trace tell you where it goes?

Disconnect all connectors from the engine before doing a wire trace.

I don’t want to tear the wire apart if I have too then I will. But the 6 pin plug is stucked out in the the middle of the engine harness like it’s meant to be out under the hood or something.

also do I need to tap into my old ecu pin for the fuel pump to prime? Cause it’s not priming on ignition switch on 2....

Im tryin to break in a css block and if I don’t get this tucked harness to work then I’ll have to switch back to my old harness that’s been hacked up from previous owner.

thanks everyone for your help

If you look at the 3rd picture with the charge harness and sub harness, it’s that 6 pin plug pictured with the sub harness... that sub harness connects to the black connectors that connect ecu/ engine harness to the driver side shock tower plugs then the 6 pin is tied in goin towards engine/ecu connectors

You don’t have to tear anything apart to do a wire trace.

the injectors may have a resistor box though, which if I remember correctly, has a similar connector..

I thought only the H-series had resistor boxes?

Hmmm guess it could be for a resistor box. I don’t need a resistor box since I have the Bosch EV14 1000cc injectors.

Can I leave it up plug? Is it why my fuel pump not priming too?

and there’s a ground that goes to thermostat housing but none that goes to the fuse box... do I need a ground running from engine harness to fuse?

OP, how do you KNOW that this custom harness is made for a "B" series VTEC engine ??? There is a possibility that this harness was created for a H22 or engine with low impedance fuel injectors. Checking continuity between the 6-pin plug and the positive wires of each fuel injector clip tells the tale... and if 4 of these wires feed the fuel injectors, there is a good chance that this plug is simply a junction point and you will likely need a female 6 pin plug to connect all pins together. This assumes that one of the 6 pins goes to a 12v+ wire at the ECU plugs.

All I know is that the seller description said it’s Honda Civic obd1 vtec. And all sensor hooked up straight to my 94 gsr engine.

I will check that pin like you said with the injectors power wire.

I have yet to check the 6pin plug, I just got off 12hrs night shift but I’ll do it later today. But I was wondering do I need to wire in the pump like rywire harness?

Late post but I found out the 6 pin plug goes to CEL, ELD, LG1, EGR, AC switch, and service connector.

Also a starter signal switch was not pinned into the tucked harness for the ECU. Do I need this to start the car???

And I also found that my clutch safety switch pad has disenegrated. So I just replaced the bottom switch and totally forgot about having the top switch too and it also has disenegrated. So I’m like 100% sure this is why my car won’t start unless the starter signal has something to do with it not starting too.

But someone let me know if I have to pin in the starter signal switch to the ecu plug if I need it to run properly.

The starter signal wire is normally the one that connects to the starter solenoid. It will be a larger gauge wire that carries more current.

Ah ok. So do I need to pin a wire to my ecu plug??? Cause the harness is left blank where the starter signal switch is.

Nope. The starter signal wire comes from the ignition switch. It is a large gauge wire and it is black with a white stripe.

There suppose to be a relay between the start signal and the starter.

Got the car running and was wondering if is there another to the ecu that links to Hondata about error codes? I already got the service connector and cel pinned in, is there anything else?

Just wondering cause im not get any error codes in Hondata and just making sure that the motor isn’t throwing any codes before I drive it.

also my rpm on my cluster isn’t working, I’ve already pinned in the rpm signal from my old harness to the new and still don’t work.
