99 Ex Cluster Help - I f'ed up
So I wanted to swap my cluster for a CRV cluster, found one in the local junkyard. I started the process to swap out odometer from the civic to crv. Broke a bunch of ****, now I have no tach needle and my speedo is off. I have looked a fair amount, but nothing reasonable about diy calibrating the speedo needle. Suggestions? I am not opposed to buying another cluster, but I will have the same issue where the mileage is off and wanting to swap the odometer over. Is there way to take these needles off without having everything be out of spec.

was all I could find when I replaced mine about 10 years ago. I didn't do it though, just made a note to add 60K for correct miles. When a car is over (I think )10 years old here the mileage is disregarded on all DMV stuff anyways.

If I recall the speedo needle slides up off the metal post pin.
What I saw is someone used their gps and left the plastic clear cover off and had the speedo needle just barely on the post. So when they drove and held it at x speed, the could grab the needle and put it at that speed before pushing it all the way onto the metal pin post.
