So I've read a few people online having this same issue but nobody says what the problem is so I'm not sure if there's an easy solution or not. I have a 1968 Honda cl350 that was gifted to me from my grandpa. He works on bikes at a cycle shop and he redid the top end of the bike before handing it to me.
So the issue is that the bike has oil coming out of the right exhaust. It's not a quick drip, just a little bit, but enough to cause the cylinder not to work. The spark plug is new, getting spark, and the timing is all right on. I checked the valves too but I don't have an adjustment on my bike. When I try and turn the throttle from the carb I can hear a sound from the bike but nothing happens. It idles fine and I can still ride it, it just has a significant power loss. I rode it from my house to the mall and it was fine but when I got on it to leave the mall I noticed it was significantly slower and noticed some oil was coming from the exhaust.
Any ideas of where to check or what to check? Or am I just due for new gaskets and piston rings again. Keep in mind the top end was just redone so it should be running good. Thanks in advance!
