Hey Honda tech
so I just solved a weird shorting issue in my car. 93 civic.
I replaced my heater core so obviously the dash had to come out.
Agter reinstalling everything my taillights, cluster lights & license plate light wouldn’t work. As soon as I turn on the headlight switch I would blow the 10A fuse.
After searching this **** down I narrowed it down to my “fog light switch” as my car never came with fog lights.
Previous owner said everything’s ready to go the wires just need to be ran. Which I never did.
So the switch next to my rear defroster would keep blowing my 10A fuse.
Ive left them both unplugged for now because
A) I don’t use either of those button toggles
B) I need my taillights so I can drive to work at night.
Anyways, these are the two connectors for the “fog light” I would assume and of course the one would be the rear defroster.
But Im having a hard time finding info on which of these plugs is the proper rear defroster plug & what the other one would be?
Now that I’m brainstorming(did this install last week), I believe only the rear defogger was plugged in when taking out the trim pieces. But can’t remember 100%.
Probably for this exact reason.
either way I’d still appreciate it if someone could identify the defogger plug for me and tell me what that other plug would be.
if I had to take a guess I would guess it would part of the SRS plug for the steering wheel?
Previous owner installed mono steering wheel.
look at the fuse box underneath the dash. Likely the p/o did a shotty job at connecting power to the foglight button. Remove that harness and correctly fix the wiring mess.

not much of an electrical guru so I appreciate the response
i didn’t want to dig into it and make an electrical problem.
As for fuse box, there is definitely wires going to it that are not factory(two yellow wires, and that harness also has 2 yellows wires)I’ll get a picture of them. But I’ll also follow them and see where they go.
