Icon4 My Honda Civic Coupe EJ7 - D16Y8 VTEC, limits to low RPM 3,000.

My civic manual, is not limiting to 7,000 RPM, I have to make the change to 3,000 RPM, with the P2P ECU, and I don't know what to do, since I tried everything, some recommendation.

-Check the V-TECH valve and it works ready

my 97 civic manual (D16Y8 V-TECH) reving to the limit .... 3000 rpm's, With ECU P2P, what can I check to limit to 7000 rpm's?

Ej7 = d16y5 not d16y8.

I would assume the owner knows his chassis code and only knows that it is vtec. So my theory is he doesnt know either the engine or the ecu currently in the car and that would help us narrow down the problems. If its a y5 with a y8 ecu ot would act all sorts of strange which could explain his problems
