balancing lsvtec?
I have a b18a with eagle rods, stock pr3 pistons, stock b16 flywheel. i can use the stock b18 flywheel if i should? does this need balancing?? i mean the rods should come balanced and my stock pistons should be balanced. the motor will probly see 8500 rpm, but shouldn't all that already be balanced?? it would be nice to save $200
I'm getting my rods/pistons balanced, eventhough I was told it wasn't necessary.
As far as flywheel is concerned, they balance the flywheel, pressure plate and crankshaft together, which makes a difference in performance.

thats fine
i'm actually just going to use my b16 flywheel, that way i won't have to break in the clutch again. and mr. ying said to use the stock rods with arp bold so i'm going that route instead.
