Default Needing help, 1000 rpm idle

Ok guys, so my new to me engine is pulling 1000 rpm all the time. I've tried doing the idle relearn process, replaced the iacv (had p505 code) and i cannot get it under 1000. I cleaned the idle screw, didnt help. Its adjusted all the way to the right and wont go any lower. Any suggestions would be great. Also not sure if this is related, but while driving everything is fine. As soon as i come to a light with my a/c on (its hotter than **** in az) my idle drops to around 2-300.... Related? Probably but not sure.

How are your fuel injectors? I know bad ones can inject more or less

Clean the IACV and then adjust the idle speed using the procedure detailed in the service manual.

Regarding the A/C, check whether the condenser fan runs when the A/C is on. It should be running.

Injectors seem to be ok and running evenly per my snap on scanner.

I just installed a new iacv, idle is fine when a/c is off its around 800, but as soon as i turn the a/c on it drops bad. A/c fan is coming on, both fans run with the a/c on.

Did the A/C work perfectly until recently?

Did you recharge system with refrigerant?

Hook up a manifold gauge set. Measure low and high side pressures with the A/C ON and A/C running on max cool in the shade. Also post the ambient temp when test was done.

So i did this today, this morning actually. Both gauges read good. It was 89* im sorry i dont remember the numbers, but an a/c guy at my work said it was ok. So ill take his word for it being as knowledgeable as he is. I wish he could help me with my car but he said he knows nothing about hondas and their weird quirks. But i cannot find a vacuum leak or coolant leak anywhere. Drove my car to lunch today and got a p505 code, but I just replaced the iacv last week.

Bump, I still cannot get my car loaded (even after idle procedure in the manual) to idle under 1000 rpm. When I unplug the iacv the car stays idle at 1000 rpm. Per the manual it says after unplugging the iacv the engine may stall. Unfortunately nothing changes. And it's a new iacv. Any other suggestions?

Do you have an FITV? If so, plug the hole in the throttle body with your finger and see if it changes the idle. If so, your FITV is stuck open.
