key wont turn!! HELP

when ever I insert the key and press the clutch down to turn it, it wont turn. anyone else have this issue? what do I need to fix it or what part do I need to buy?

You may just need to have a new key made.

Or try slightly turning the wheel to relieve the pressure of the ignition column lock?

I've tried moving the wheel but it's not locked, I literally have to mess with the key wiggling it for a couple minutes till it turns.

Clean the ignition switch lock mechanism with WD40 and also make a new key. Then go from there.

Are you saying you can't physically turn the key to the starting position III, or that when you do turn the key to III nothing happens?

the key wouldn't turn to any of the positions(1,2,or3) I ended up buying the switch lock at O'Reilly... quick 20 dollar fix. turns like a charm now 🙌
