Default Z6 swapped ef hatch

Alright so I have a 91 dx hatch with the d15b1 dpfi. I just bought a d16z6 from a 93 si and am trying to swap it in. I bought the ecu jumper harness, the dpfi to MPFI conversion kit. My question is is that what else do I need to swap. I thought the MPFI kit was just a plug and play and that’s it. But there’s a ton of plugs that aren’t there for the obd1 engine. I’m also not trying to rewrite a ton of plugs or cut a ton of wires. Any help is appreciated

What kit? A ton of plugs? Which plugs? Where are they located on the harness? Do you have pictures? Do you think we are omniscient?

On the MPFI harness there’s only a few plugs which on the engine there’s like 3x as many. Do I plug in the conversion harness to the stock z6 harness? Or what

The DPFI harness will have 2 fewer injector plugs, and will lack the wiring and plug for the VTEC solenoid, for obvious reasons. Are these the plugs you're referring to? No one can reliably answer your question if you do not explain to what you're referring.

What is the conversion harness for? I am aware of harness adapters for the ECU (which you indicate you purchased), but you have not explained what other adapter harnesses you obtained.

More information is needed.

first off you need to use the original engine harness that was on your car and modify it accordingly - don't know what kind of jumper you have but most good OBD0 to OBD1 ECU jumpers will have the DPFI to MPFI wiring as a part of the jumper along with VTEC wiring, etc. (and they come with instructions). You will need to take care of the distributor connectors (which you can purchase a jumper for), the cooling fan switch wiring and the MAP sensor wiring

You're quite right, I have corrected the original. Proofreading is important kids!
