Icon5 99GS Engine bay way too hot

I recently bought a new Integra to replace my 96LS and one of the first things I've noticed is the whole engine bay gets super hot. I thought maybe it's a year/model difference but even the hood catch to hold your hood open gets got enough to burn you if you hold it. What might be causing this? Is it not enough airflow into the bay? Stock grille/bumper/hood. Never even came close to getting this hot after a 2 hour drive in my 96.

First check the spark plugs and replace if needed. maybe try a colder plug.

Check the ignition timing with a light gun, your timing may be off.

Make sure your fans are working and turning on.
