Hello everyone, I'm new here! I have a bordeaux red 1994 Accord EX 2-Coupe that is the absolute love of my life. Sadly, it is now missing a body part. (Vandalism... : (
Does anyone know what this piece is called - or have one, or know where know where to find one?
I have tried everywhere I could think of, with no luck, and am really desperate at this point,,, Thank you for any help or ideas...
Looks like: "protector" Part Number: 75324-SV2-A21
But you should go onto Honda's eStore site, plug in specs for your specific vehicle then look under the category "Interior/Bumper" to verify this is the correct part number.
Thank you! Miraculously, we found the original part and the fasteners are still attached!!
How do you reinstall this part? It looks like I can push it back into place, but I am concerned that the pressure to do so will push in the side panel...Is there a trick to this?
Also, is there preferred auto glue to use for trim on older Hondas?
Thank you all for any advice - as you can tell I am clueless about repairs and grateful for .everyone's expertise.
Some of these were held down by clips and emblem tape. If the clips are intact then this will pop back into place. Be aware however the end facing the front of the car will have a red clip
This one seems to have used a trim glue. Does anyone have a preferred auto glue/trim adhesive? Concerned that common current glue may be corrosive to old finishes/parts, so thought i'd ask your recommendations...
Thank you again! Finding the part again truly felt like winning lotto, so i want to make sure I do it right!
