Hi, I am currently building a custom Dune rail with a Honda drivetrain and was wondering if there was a difference in the bolt pattern between the 8th gen civic lx transmission and the k series transmission found in the si. I know the gearing ratio is slightly different and the SI transmission has a limited slip differential but are they based on the same transmission platform or are they entirely unique transmission designs that are incompatible with the other engine without an adapter?

 

They are not interchangeable.
