cable to hydro lever?
What's wrong with it? Does it fall apart, not have full adjustment travel, or not work very well?
Hasport told me it's not intended for heavily sprung race type clutches.
The Hush equipment looks pretty good, but....
....I don't like hydraulic clutches much. Is there another straight mechanical system that works better, last longer?
Thanks

My car came with the hasport conversion bracket which mounts a master cylinder down near the trans, and still uses the OE cable. Its not great, but works. The cable broke, as they do, so fml haha.

So I think it's either the hush performance system which will still be a little harder, but no cable to break, or get a '92 cable trans, which would cost even more.
A harder clutch pedal makes cornering a bit more difficult if you're shifting going into the corner and again when you're leaving the corner.
Heal and toe, or double clutching? I wish I knew how much harder the hush system will be.
Anybody have one of these hush systems? They still seem to be saying theirs will be a bit harder than OEM.

Not really remove the column, more like un bolt and let it drop out of the way. He even says in the videos its a difficult install. Cost is the main thing keeping me with the cable set up. The current cable lasted 4 years. I have a type r trans and i dont think the pedal effort is too extreme but i may just be used to it.
I ordered the mounts from Hasport. I called them and asked them to hold up the order in case I wanted to get a '92 5-speed trans. Their tech guy says the GSR will bolt onto my '90 transmission if I get a '90 clutch for the GSR flywheel.
My trans is in pretty good shape and should be strong enough considering how I use my car. I may have it rebuilt, as possible without the heavy parts.
I'm working to verify this info.

I am beginning to wonder tho...if I should just shut up and go thru the pain in the ace (and expense) of getting the hush.
It would be reliable and the GSR trans will take full advantage of the vtec

I may change to the hush later, but I've already got enough work to do. I decided it would be best to stick with the trans that the engine comes with.
It was last replaced about 4 years ago, got it from honda. They discontinued making the integra cable as far as i can tell so this time i was stuck buying the civic cable. Since the integra cable works on the civic i think the civic cable should work for you too?
