So 96specr came without ABS too?

I have two 4x114.3 swaps one clean with new bushings ready to go but just noticed it has no abs ring or way to mount sensor

I have another one that's rusted and needs new bushings but it does have the abs sensor

I have been running without abs already as I find it kind of clunky in this car (db2 gsr) but also I am gonna be running ra1s and I was considering putting the fuse back so I don't flat spot them. While the abs is clunky, no driver is that fast nor can modulate left and right wheel separate so..but I dunno the abs almost made me crash once (no where to turn) which is why I pulled it.

what to do? I didn't wanna molest my gsr too much but I was gonna boost it anyway..removing the abs **** under the hood would make some nice room but ****.

I wonder if I can take the spindle and dust shield off the abs ones? I'd sill have to tap the mounting holes which looks like it'd be a bitch

Either that or I clean up the other arms and move my bushings over but that's a bitch too.

I had no idea that ANY ITR came without ABS?? WTFS

 

ABS was a factory option in the JDM 96spec cars. Not all of them had it.

ABS only became standard when JDM 98spec rolled out.
