2016 Honda Odyssey SE with 60K
I have an issue where around 1500'ish RPM and light throttle(35-45 mph) the RPM's will surge up then back down a couple of hundred.
I have no lights or error codes and the van idles fine and runs fine at higher highway speeds.
Anyone encounter and solve this issue?

 

How does the engine idle?

 

The van idles great, runs fine at cruising speed(60-80) on the Autobahn. There is a little hesitation when you begin accelerating from the RPM range where the surging occurs.

 

I'm having a similar issue with my 04 Odyssey. The check engine light just came on as well. What did you do to yours to correct it?

 

I've yet to find a solution. There are no lights or codes indicating a problem.
I'm looking at replacing the EGR valve and see if that helps.
I'm surprised that there are no post regarding this issue and a solution to this issue.

 

Should not a 3yo Ody be still under warranty?

Have you changed your ATF fluid? 60k miles its about due.
