AC Issues - Blows cold still but has issues blowing cold air when its 80F or above
Been having issues with my AC - its a black 96 Accord so when its mid-day and the hottest, the AC will not make the cabin a comfortable temp. Not the biggest deal since I really only use it early in the morning and at night when temperatures are cool still. It blows cold at those times. Just had the freon re-charged last October and didnt find any leaks with dye. The only thing that was dripping was condensation from the AC system (I live in a very humid environment).
Any experience fixing this without going to a service shop? - they want to charge me $90 just to do a pressure test and I dont want to pay that.
Is it most definitely the Compressor just losing power? How can I know for sure? If not the compressor, what else could it be?

With the engine running and the AC turned on does the compressor clutch engage the compressor itself?
Had a compressor clutch go bad years ago, compressor was fine.
