Default Tranmission Coolor Lines

I am installing an external filter on my 94 EX transmission lines, and I am trying to find out which is the pressure and which is the return. The parts catalog says only pipes "A" and "B". Most everything else says only transmission cooler lines. There is obviously one way to find out but that is a last resort. So, is pipe B, closest to the front of the trans, or pipe A, the rear one, the return line?

doesn't say explicitly, but i'm pretty sure the flow directions shown in the first post here is correct.

Yup. Return line is the rear most line that dumps the cooled ATF onto the rear differential and final drive gears.
