Default Honda Civic dx take off grinding noise. Please help

I have a 1995 Honda Civic dx 5 speed. It runs great and drives good except this noise. It makes a faint grinding noise when I take off in 1st gear. Also when I’m parked in neutral there’s a roaring noise but when I press the clutch the noise disappears. Any ideas? I’m hoping it’s not the transmission please help.

Yes. Synchrotech rebuild kits are available at the link in my signature if you want to replace all the bearings while you're in there.
