Can we talk about this crash? Why did this happen?
What I'd like to hear is this wouldn't happen to any normal civic/teg, and that this likely happened because at some point in this car's life it was taken apart and then put back together with Elmer's and positive vibes.
That woman was very lucky all the way around. She gave an interview from the hospital afterward. Is it just me or was that a rather slow speed impact with the tree that tore the car in half? Id have to agree that the car must have been stitched together. Pretty awful to watch that all happen.
when I as a kid visiting Brazil, this was how the tracks were there... tight, slow, and ghetto rigged cars. Have you been down to your local circle track? don't... they have some really nicely built cars but their street car series usually have some jacked up junk
its hard to tell what side of the car she came out of, but maybe its a ghetto RHD conversion job. It broke right at the firewall... where people are splicing them in.

Nascar Mexico this happened a few years ago.
Other countries don't have strict standards for building race cars.
Thank the sanctioning bodies we have here for promoting safety.
They also don't have bountiful used cars to create the speed machines we have here.
Wrecking yards... overseas almost non existant. Unlike here pick ur parts are everywhere.
My guess based on the way the car came apart it was two cars made into one.
Guardrails and tire barriers are almost non existent there too.
This took place in the Dominican Republic, pretty third world.
She came out of the left hand side.
Incredible she didn't die since her lid came flying off in the initial impact. safety crews.. you don't put on your helmets after the fact.
Dirty is just gonna suffice to say this kind of thing happens all the time at least in those type of countries.
