Default Gasket set for bored engine

I have a GSR block with 84.5mm bore cylinders and a b16 head and I’m looking for a full engine gasket rebuild kit. I found a cometic set that’s for a b20 block and b16 head but says underneath vtec head / non vtec block. The head gaskets look almost identical so I was wondering if it would still work or if I would need a different one. I’ll post the link underneath

The picture of the gasket is wrong for your application, but the description suggests that it would work. Cometic DOES make a specialized gasket that works on both a full VTEC block/head combo AND a non-VTEC block with a VTEC head. Without a part number for the head gasket, I cannot tell you for sure. So, 50/50. It's your call.

For the headgasket since you have full vtec longblock

i suggest go buy a golden eagle 84 vtec gasket as they use oem p30 and bore it out to 84.5mm

for the rest of the “top end” “kit”
you should buy oem b16/gsr parts
oem cam seals
oem vc gasket n grommet set

oem vtec gasket top n bottom
supertech valve stem seals works fine for 20 or oem for 30-40$

If you you want to still go cometic
email them and ask is it a vtec gasket bored to 84.5mm
or is it an actual non vtec gasket meant for b20
because you essentially have a full vtec longblock bores to 84.5mm
ensure you specify. “Is it vtec gasket bored to 84.5mm or is it a nonvtec headgasket” because there’s 2 style people do aka “vtec hg or nonvtec hg for b20b”

and not the usual “b20vtec”
