Default 94 LS bad tranny?

Recenlty got a 94 ls 5spd...when i got the car it had spongy clutch pedal. Was not driveable so had it trailered home. Bled and replaced clutch slave cylinder...got good clutch pressure now.
However, it wont go into gear when car is running. All Gears goes in fine when car/motor is not running.
Could it be a tranny/clutch issue or clutch master cylinder?
Thnx

Make sure the clutch slave cylinder is inside the shift lever, This usually is a broken clutch disc.

I left the boot out so i could see if the shift fork move or not when press the clutch. It does moved.
Also, ive noticed that the clutch feels weaker when the motor is running. When u pressed the clutch u can the motor wined or slight grinding from the tranny...almost like sound of brake pads making contact on rotors.

At this point you need to remove the trans, its not very difficult just make sure every bolt is out the lower ones can be tricky and hard to see but once all bolts are removed with a pry bar or two wiggle the trans off, keep a trans jack or support the trans when removing and take a look at the clutch disk, Im almost sure the disc spring is broken or the whole disc is blown.

Have you checked the clutch pedal adjustment?

Ill check the paddle adjustment...maybe replaced the clutch master cylinder...got a spare one

I mainly bought this car for the motor swap...so if taking out the tranny, it wouldnt b an issue...
Just would like to drive it first to see if gears grinds or what not...

Check under the clutch petal to see if the MC is leaking. If it is, then your issue could be that you just need a new MC depending on how far gone it is. Otherwise, that scraping noise you're hearing could be from a bad bearing but something is definitely broken with the clutch if the MC is fine.

Ill look more into the cmc...if anything else ill swap if it helps
Like i said clutch pedal got plenty of pressure when motor is not running but once car is started...clutch pedal feels softer
Im thinking that sound is it doesn't have enough pressure/force for clutch disc to stop flywheel to get into gears
But, could also be a bad cmc or clutch too
