So I was replacing the lock actuator on the passenger door of my 03 Accord coupe. I got the new actuator in and the the door was locking and unlocking as it should. I closed the door to make sure the handles worked before I put the side panel back on, but it turns out that the handles don’t work and now I can’t get my door open. The side panel is off so I still have access to lock mechanism from inside the door, but can’t open the door to remove the mechanism and see what I did wrong. I’ve been doing some research but haven’t found anything helpful. Is there some sort of quick release I can press to unlatch the door? I’ve included of the mechanism inside my door for reference. The lock pin on the top of the door goes up and down, and both places where the interior and exterior handle move a latch, the latch can move freely but just doesn’t actually release the door. Any advice is much appreciated.
