Hi all, i am new to engine swap but currently my civic has a usdm gsr motor with a jdm p72 ecu. Will it run properly on this combination. I brought the car on this setup. but it did feel a bit slow when vtec kick in or is not turning on? But it starts and idles normally and drives fine.

If it came with it and you drove it home than your answer is yes.

It is not optimum... but it will work... IF the engine is completely stock. If you have added bolt-ons, you need to tune it.
