Default 2009 accord side brake light issue

Hi all.

My 2009 Honda Accord's side brake lights are BOTH out. the high brake light lamp DOES WORK.

Here is what i tried so far:
  1. Changed both bulbs with sylvania 7443. no luck. Took out the high lamp's bulb (sylvania 7440) and tried the 7443 in the high lamp, it worked. Also tried the 7440 bulb (the one that was in the high lamp) in one of the side brake lights and still no luck. so pretty confident it isn't a bulb issue.
  2. checked the fuse. I even pulled out the fuse and checked to see if the high brake light would work and the horn (apparently they are all the same fuse) and NOTHING worked with fuse pulled. If anyone thinks for some reason the side lamps have a different fuse, please let me know! But if that's not the case it shouldnt be the fuse.
  3. Lastly, i changed the brake switch. Same thing like the old brake switch. The high lamp turns on but no luck with the side brakes. i read somewhere that if your brake switch is busted, cruise control wont work. Cruise control worked even with the old brake switch.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
