2014 Accord v6 - two issue
Hello everyone I'm new here
first thing my accord very close to 100K miles, its time to replace timing belt, any recommendations witch part to purchase Genuine Honda OEM
Parts only or there is aftermarket parts that good enough that work good as the OME parts? on the way witch parts necessary replace also?
second thing that disturbing me long time a go, i have some problem with my starter, some times the starter not starting and making a noise of creak, i can say approximately 1 of 15 times its happen
I replace a starter already but the problem not solved, anyone have idea what is the problem if its not the starter?
last thing if anyone can recommend a good mechanic that experts on Hondas, I'm from bayside, Queens, NY area.
i don't want pay again hundred dollars for nothing.

I have used Rock Auto, AISIN kit with belt and water pump was recommended to me.

Honda replaced my starter out of warranty(barely) under their Good will program.

what is the voltage of the battery? sometimes if the battery is beyond useful lifetime (5 years) it will not hold a charge and it will cause the starter to work harder. See how old the battery is first.
